Design for Delight

Design for Delight is a process that looks at product and service development from the customers point of view and takes this a step further and puts customer satisfaction at the center of development. Design to Delight involves a three step process that put the customer at the centre of all decisions:
- Deep Customer Empathy provides an understanding of the customer and insights, and motivation to improve the lives of our customers.
- We “go broad” by employing creativity to explore many possible solutions to the customers problem. We then “go narrow” and focus on the solutions most likely to delight our customers.
- Rapid Experiments with Customers tests our solutions quickly. We run experiments with real customers, to quickly learn what works and what does not.
