2D & 3D Design Workshop

Welcome to the 2D/3D Design Workshop. We will be teaching 2D and 3D design skills that you can master to take advantage of laser cutting an 3D modelling technology. There is no perquisite for this program and all students from all schools are welcome. You are required to have a Windows or Mac computer to attend these classes. Classes are provided on a drop-in schedule, and students are encouraged to learn at their own pace. This is a beginner level course for anyone interested in 2D and 3D design.
We will begin with learning about 2D vector based design, that is used in graphic design and illustration. This is foundational to both 2D and 3D design, where you will learn about vectors, lines, shapes and points.
We will be using two pieces of FREE software that you will need to install on your computer.
Both are free to install and use, both on campus and at home. Please download and install them before attending class and spend some time getting to know them.
